What is a Contiguous Pile Shoring System?
Contiguous pile shoring involves drilling a series of vertical concrete piles side by side with small gaps (typically 50–150 mm) between them. Unlike secant walls, the piles do not overlap, making the system faster to install and well-suited for dry or cohesive soils.
This method creates a continuous wall that stabilizes the soil during excavation, making it ideal for projects where groundwater is not a major concern.
